It has been a very long Wednesday and indeed it is still Wednesday! Dallas airport is a joy – where everyone, even the immigration officers, welcome you to the USA in the cutest accent and all exchanges are extremely polite and they call me “M’am” very respectfully:). Arrived at hotel at 3pm and decided to head straight out for some fresh air and also because the next two days temperatures are due to plummet. So headed for the Nasher Sculpture museum and had the whole place to myself. Loved the giant red trowel above and here a few other items – my favorite is the Anthony Gormley which looks like loads of bits of metal from one direction and hides one his well known stick men when you see it from behind.
Now off to dinner – unbelievably my pal Leon from Melbourne is also in Dallas tonight – so as many have said before – you travel halfway around the world only to find the person who lives down the street!
